River Don Restoration
We installed 16 Large Wood Structures (LWS) along the main stem of the River Don to revitalise the aquatic ecosystem. These natural features create essential shelter, stabilise the riverbed, and restore the ideal spawning conditions needed for wild salmon and trout to thrive.

CBEC Project
These 128 logs from Ardhuncart were used on the project below, also on the Don as a wider catchment project.
In collaboration with CBEC Eco-Engineering, Ardhuncart Estate is implementing a targeted restoration project along the River Don. Following a comprehensive geomorphological survey that identified 43 potential sites, we have shortlisted 17 strategic locations for the installation of Large Wood Structures (LWS).
